No injuries are reported after an object exploded in a park in Iran’s capital city on Saturday; Additionally, no damage is reported; Officials are investigating the source of the blast.

According to a report from Reuters, local officials in Tehran are investing after a large explosion occurred at a park on Saturday, which resulted in no injuries or damage. While the source of the blast remains unknown, a local reported said, “An unknown object exploded …There was no damage, and no one was hurt.”

The explosion apparently took place at Mellat Park, which happens to be located close to the headquarters for some of the Islamic Republic’s state media. On social media, several spectators looked on as firefighters attended the blaze that followed.

Deputy Governor of Tehran, Hamid Reza Goudarzi, said, “We are investigating the dimensions and causes of the incident, and we will provide information after we are sure.”
