Uranium samples found in Iranian warehouse validate the longtime claims by Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu; United Nation nuclear inspectors took samples of the warehouse in Tehran that was targeted by Netanyahu; PM Netanyahu:Iran has not abandoned its goal to develop nuclear weapons…. Rest assured that will not happen. What Iran hides, Israel will find.
In April of 2018, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu told his audience in Tel Aviv, “Iran has not abandoned its goal to develop nuclear weapons…. Rest assured that will not happen. What Iran hides, Israel will find.” This is not the only occasion where he has warned the world of Iran’s deception in the midst of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA); an empty, one-sided deal that carried the hopes of Iran being held accountable. One can imagine where all of the money actually went that was given to Iran in this deal. In all of this, Netanyahu’s claims as to the deception and hostility of Iran are only further validated.
The warehouse that has been targeted is located in Tehran. While Iran denies any involvement with nuclear production, they cannot give a response as to why traces of uranium were found in their warehouse. As you might expect, Israel and the US strongly dispute the claims of innocence by Iran, and rightfully so. This discovery comes at a time when Iran has now openly validated that they will no longer adhere to the terms of the JCPOA in any way (not that they ever have).
Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations tweeted, “The Iranian regime must be held to account and not given a free pass.”, as The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) continues their investigation as to the source and use of this uranium.
We don’t know what is to come in the near future, but with this new revelation, it wouldn’t be surprising if the US were to implement new sanctions on Iran.
