IDF prevents Iranian terror attack approaching from Syria; Iranian militia planned to use armed drones to attack Israel; Netanyahu: In a major operational effort, we thwarted an attack against Israel by Iranian Quds force and Shiite militias; Manelis: The IDF is in high readiness to continue both defensive and offensive actions as necessary against the plans to attack the State of Israel.
On Saturday night, the IDF dropped preemptive airstrikes south of Damascus in a town called Aqrabah. If you’ve ever been to the Golan Heights (recently dubbed Trump Heights), it’s likely you’d have seen some of the action today from the mountain top. These airstrikes come as a result of the continued effort by Iran to use Syria as a vessel for providing their proxies with heavy weaponry and militia from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). IRGC militia and Shiite militias were collaborating to send armed (explosives), unmanned drones into northern Israel. These drones are said to be far more threatening than what they’ve used historically.
Military Spokesman Jonathan Conricus stated, “The IDF, by Israeli aircraft, was able to thwart an Iranian attempt led by the Quds force from Syria to conduct an attack on Israeli targets in northern Israel using killer drones,”. After confirming that this attack from Iran has something that’s been in the works for months, Conricus stated, “It was not something done on a low level, but rather top down from the Quds Force.”
In commenting on the report, PM Netanyahu stated, “In a major operational effort, we thwarted an attack against Israel by Iranian Quds force and Shiite militias,” adding, “I repeat: Iran has no immunity anywhere. Our forces are operating in every direction against Iranian aggression. We will continue to work against Iran and its proxies with determination and responsibility for Israel’s security.” Even further, he stated, “If someone rises up to kill you, kill him first,”.
Israel continues to prepare for any future Iranian or Syrian attacks after what’s taken place as of Saturday, specifically on their northern border.
As we continue to witness the ever-growing Iranian aggression toward the Jewish state, we draw one event closer to the day that Iran (Persia) meets their fate in the mountains of Israel-and they won’t be alone.
