Lebanese media reports that Hezbollah is prepared to launch an attack against Israel; Aoun: Israeli aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut a blatant attack on Lebanon and the integrity of its territory; Nasrallah: We will not allow this trajectory, and we will act to prevent this trajectory; Netanyahu: Any country that enables the use of its territory to carry out strikes against Israel will bear the consequences.
In a very abnormal move, Hezbollah leadership has released information regarding the damage inflicted on one of their communication centers in Lebanon on Saturday morning. This comes as a result of two drones, said to be Israeli, infiltrating their territory. Reports indicate that one was armed with explosives, which detonated, and the other crashed. Interestingly enough, so far, no photos have been released of the crashed drone, which would be definitive evidence that Israel was directly involved. This is an abnormal situation because historically, they refuse to admit the damage that has been done to them. There is now suspicion that this “drone attack” could be a setup by Iran & their proxies, being used as an opportunity to attack Israel.
This confrontation comes on the heels of a series of airstrikes in the past couple of months. For the first time in this series of strikes, Israel confirmed that they were responsible for what took place south of Damascus only 48 hours ago, preventing a potential mass terror attack that was ready to be delivered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other Iranian proxies in northern Israel.
Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah threatened a Lebanese response, warning Israel that just because the IDF assured their safety, they shouldn’t live passively, especially in northern Israel. He warned, “I say to the Israeli Army on the border from tonight, stand guard (on high alert). Wait for us one, two, three, four days…what happened last night won’t cut it with us.” He also vowed that any Israeli drone would be shot down, should it be flying in Lebanese air. There are no specifics released as to how Israel is preparing its northern border.
Currently, Iran’s Foreign Minister is present at the G7 summit but has no intention of speaking with the United States.
Keep your eye on Israel. As Iran’s economy continues to plummet and their aggression toward the Jewish state escalates, they will be looking for any reason to invade the land.
