A submarine belonging to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) passed the Suez Canal in what is reported to be a discreet message to the Iranians; Kochavi: The IDF will attack anyone who chooses to participate in – partially or fully, closely or remotely – any action against the State of Israel or Israeli targets.

An IDF submarine is reported to have crossed the Suez Canal earlier this week, making its way towards the Persian Gulf. According to Arab reports, the submarine was visible and likely intended to be a message to the Iranian regime. Additionally, the submarine passed through the Canal with approval from Egyptian authorities.

Kann News took to Twitter saying, “The Israeli submarine on its way to Iran – Revealing news here Arab intelligence: A Navy submarine crossed the Suez Canal openly and with Egyptian clearance, in the direction of the Persian Gulf. The sources estimated that Israel was trying to send a message to Tehran. The IDF stated that they do not comment on such publications.”

Following the recent killing of Iran’s lead nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the Islamic Republic has vowed revenge, a claim which Israeli leadership has warned against in return.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi issued an additional warning to the Iranian regime stating, “If Iran and its partners from the radical axis… carry out an attack against the State of Israel, they will find the price extremely high. The IDF will attack anyone who chooses to participate in – partially or fully, closely or remotely – any action against the State of Israel or Israeli targets.”

He added, “The IDF will forcefully attack anyone who takes part, from near or far, in activities against the State of Israel or Israeli targets. I am saying this plainly and am describing the situation as it is — the response and all the plans have been prepared and practiced.”

Furthermore, multiple US naval ships entered the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, including the USS Georgia. According to the US Navy, this was to warn any “threats” in the region, reminding them that the US is always prepared for confrontation.
