IDF targets 5 different Hamas locations in Gaza in retaliation to Hamas firing on civilians; Conricus: Now that @IDF has struck back at #Hamas targets in Gaza after 5 rockets were fired at Israeli civilians an hour ago, most of the international media will probably report: “Israeli military strikes Gaza”. Go figure the logic behind that.

In response to Hamas firing on Israeli civilians, the IDF has targeted 5 different Hamas posts as of Friday evening.  The IDF reported that the posts were north of the Gaza strip.  According to the Palestinian media, there were no injuries that came with the strikes. Additionally, there were two teens from Gaza killed at the border on Friday as demonstrations from the Palestinians escalated.  The IDF referred to their protests as, “especially violent”.

IDF Spokesman Jonathan Conricus took to Twitter stating, “Now that @IDF has struck back at #Hamas targets in Gaza after 5 rockets were fired at Israeli civilians an hour ago, most of the international media will probably report: “Israeli military strikes Gaza”. Go figure the logic behind that.”

Hamas, like Hezbollah, is another one of Iran’s proxies that Israel is constantly dealing with.  In early May, there were over 700 rockets fired from the Gaza strip with in 24 hours, killing four Israelis; ironically, one of them was Arab.
