Iran intends to execute the man they believe offered intelligence to the US & Israel regarding former General Qassem Soleimani.

Five months after the death of the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), General Qassem Soleimani, Iran is poised to execute the individual they deem responsible for providing information to Israel and the United States.

Iran is holding Mahmoud Mousavi Majd responsible for providing the intel regarding the former IRGC commander, who was killed via a US drone strike back in January. Prior to the strike that took place in Baghdad, Israel also provided the US with critical information.

Their Judiciary spokesperson, Gholamhossein Esmaili, stated that the execution would be happening ‘soon’, even though the accusations against Majd could not be verified at all. He also accused Majd of being ‘linked to the CIA and Mossad.’ Even further, he’s being accused of accepting large sums of money from both Israel and the US in exchange for his intel.
