Spontaneous explosions continue in Iran on Monday; This explosion took place at another petrochemical plant in eastern Iran; The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Another petrochemical plant in eastern Iran fell victim to an explosion on Monday. This time, it took place in the Razavi Korasan Province. An Iranian news outlet said that the incident began with a fire that eventually led to the explosion. It’s reported that up to six large gas tanks exploded in the fire.

Thus far, no deaths are reported. However, the facility has suffered serious damage. The neighboring company was also affected by the explosion.

Over the weekend, a petrochemical plant in the southwestern portion of the country also experienced a fire. However, those on site were able to put it out within 30 minutes.
