Sixth observation point exposed by Israel in recent months; IDF: The organization continues to deploy forces near the border and thinks that Israel is oblivious to this activity.

The IDF exposed a Hezbollah observation point on Israel’s border disguised as an environmental group “Green Without Borders”.

This is the sixth illegal outpost discovered by the IDF in recent months. The outpost is in violation of UN Resolution 1701 passed after the Second Lebanese War.

The IDF confirmed the outpost, sharing a video on social media exposing it and calling on the United Nations to take action. The IDF Spokespersons Unit confirmed Monday “Green Without Borders would be a great name for an environmental organization. Too bad Hezbollah made it up to disguise their terror activity along the Israel-Lebanon border…”

It confirmed that it notified the UN, stating “We voiced our concern over these posts to the UN, but Hezbollah made it difficult for UN inspectors to do their job and examine the posts, claiming it is a private area. This is a blatant, daily violation of the UN Security Council resolutions 1701, which prohibits any armed military presence south of the Litani river except for the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon… The organization continues to deploy forces near the border and thinks that Israel is oblivious to this activity.”

The IDF recently released satellite footage of 3 sites in Beirut being used by Iran for accurate, long-range missile production. The sites are located near an international airport and several civilian areas, including schools and a sports stadium. The IDF reported Iran’s “Missile Accuracy Project” was intentionally transferred to the “heart of the city of Beirut… jeopardizing the Lebanese civilian population”.
