IDF, ISA killed Ariel terrorist in West Bank on Tuesday night; Netanyahu visits families of those fallen; PM: The long arm of Israel reaches all those who attack our civilians and our soldiers.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA, Shin Bet) found and killed the Ariel terrorist on Tuesday night, ending their three-day manhunt. Omar Abu Lila, 19, was killed in an exchange of fire with IDF soldiers in the Palestinian village of Abwein outside of Ramallah. The IDF Spokesperson Unit confirmed, “Last night, our troops alongside security forces located the terrorist who committed the two terror attacks on Sunday in which Staff Sgt. Gal Keidan & Rabbi Achiad Ettinger were killed. We will continue to fight terror.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu praised the security forces, stating “I congratulate the ISA, Israel Police special anti-terror unit and the IDF on the quick action that led to the elimination of the abhorrent terrorist who murdered Sgt. Gal Keidan and Rabbi Achiad Ettinger. The long arm of Israel reaches all those who attack our civilians and our soldiers.”

As of Wednesday morning , the soldier Alexander Dvorsky, who was severely injured in one of the shooting attacks, is reportedly improving. Staff Sgt. Gal Kaidan, 19, was laid to rest at an IDF military cemetery in Be’er Sheva on Tuesday morning and Rabbi Ettinger was buried in the settlement of Eli. In line with funerals for Israel’s fallen, thousands of Israeli citizens attended both services. Prime Minister Netanyahu also visited the families of both the victims.
