Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” The Bible also says in Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?”
As a result of the sin, man’s heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. So how can we be pure of heart?
