Israel’s military responded to a rocket attack overnight on Friday that was carried out by Hamas; The rockets targeted civilian areas and exploded before reaching their destination(s); Others were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.

The Iranian-sponsored terrorist regime on the Gaza Strip, Hamas, fired three dozen rockets into Israel overnight on Thursday, sparking a retaliatory strike from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The rockets reportedly did not result in any injuries, and neither did the strikes carried out by the IDF.

According to the IDF, it successfully struck underground Hamas-run infrastructure and rocket launchers. The rockets fired by Hamas are reported to have either detonated before hitting their designated targets or were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome. Israel’s sirens were activated, leading families to take refuge in bomb shelters.

The US State Department condemned the attack(s) from Gaza.
