Turkey’s Erdogan claims that he won’t allow anything to happen to Palestinian land; Claims he’s the “only voice” defending the Palestinians today.

Speaking as the self-proclaimed guardian over Palestinian land, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed on Monday that he would not allow anything to happen to Palestinian land. His statement comes Amid Israel’s pending annexation of areas in Judea & Samaria (The West Bank).

In a video he recently produced for Muslims living in America, Erdogan stated, “We will not allow Palestinian lands to be offered to anyone.” The video was made in order for Erdogan to voice his support for Muslims on Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast), which Muslims are celebrating today. This holiday marks the end of Ramadan.

Adding to his defense of the Palestinians and turning his attention to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Erdogan said, “I would like to reiterate that Al Quds Al-Sharif, the holy place of the three religions… is a red line for all Muslims in the world.” He would go on to claim himself as the “only voice” fighting for the Palestinians today.

Israel’s annexation could begin as early as July 1.
