I believe that now is the time that God is opening the door for this vision to be realized in what we will call CONNECT. Why CONNECT? Because we envision this facility as being our central hub from which we can reach out and touch people globally and locally. From a beautiful location overlooking the Jezreel Valley, Behold Israel CONNECT will allow the ministry of Behold Israel to provide:

• Breaking News Reports: reporting in real-time on major events that are taking place in the Middle East or that affect the Middle East
• Weekly Middle East Roundups: connecting the dots weekly between the news and the Bible, particularly as it relates to prophecy
• Round Table Discussions: expanding our existing “round table” forum to include more teachers and a wider range of topics
• Q&A Programs: providing technology and manpower to assist in the regular production of this and other staple ministries, thereby upgrading the experience of viewers.
• Regionally Targeted Zoom Meetings: reinstituting this ministry, which allows Zoom meetings targeted to certain countries and regions based on topic and time zone.
• Bible Teaching from Israel: increasing opportunities for biblical teaching on location in Israel
• Special Interviews with Key People: utilizing experts from government, the military, academia, ministry, and other areas to help explain the times and the seasons in an interview format
• Gathering Center: offering a location the size of which will allow for the gathering of locals for Bible studies and fellowship, as well as the hosting of tour groups.
• Space for Ministry Expansion: having the room to follow God’s lead as the Behold Israel leadership and team prayerfully seek new avenues and opportunities for reaching out with the truth of Scripture

In the next few weeks, we will begin the process of planning and building a state-of-the art broadcasting studio that will allow us to expand our online presence with excellence and relevance. We will also lay out within the facility a sizable space that will provide for groups from inside and outside the country to come for fellowship and to hear the Word of God taught. Most of my 2024 sabbatical year will be spent establishing and implementing this vision.

I strongly believe that as we enter our final stretch on earth, the need for boots on the ground reporting from the Middle East is essential. This is even more true of the need for sensation-free analysis and teaching rooted and grounded in the Bible. Behold Israel CONNECT will provide for these needs as well as the one-on-one opportunities that will allow us to bless those who either live in or are visiting Israel. We’ve already seen God confirm this vision in many ways, and we are trusting Him for direction and provision.

As you can see, this is a significant undertaking. But I am confident that the benefits of a facility with the ability to spread the truth of Christ here in Israel and across the globe are worth the cost. That is why the Behold Israel ministry board and I are initiating a campaign to raise $2 million for Connect. These funds will cover the planning and construction of the facility. It will also pay for all the studio and office equipment, as well as the first year of salaries for a new professional team of four people.

Because we have an assurance that this is the direction the Lord is leading us, I am coming to you to ask you to pray and consider giving a special designated contribution above your ongoing monthly support for the ministry. For those of you who have followed the ministry for some time, you know that this is not something that we are in the habit of doing. But the mission of Connect is of the level of importance that we feel compelled to do so. By designating any funds given for this project either by check or online giving with “BI Connect Project”, our accounting team will know for sure how to code and process them, and they will still be tax deductible. All designated contributions will go specifically toward this project. I come to you in the same spirit as Paul did to the Corinthian church:

“For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” (2 Corinthians 9:12–15)
