The Bible makes it clear that the Messiah is more than just a human being; He is the Son of God. This is evidenced in Isaiah’s prophecy of a Son who will be mighty God and everlasting Father, as well as Proverbs 30, which states that His name and His Son’s name shall be known. Jeremiah 31:31 suggests that a new covenant will be made with Israel that does not rely on the law of Moses, as it could not be fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled the law, making it so no one else has to. He is the only way to reach God, as He stated to the Jews, “I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life. No one can come to the Father but through Me.”
