Russia has been flying Iranian arms into Syria over the past 10 days. A report from Fox News cites “western intelligence sources” which claim that Russia has “helped Iran deliver weapons into Syria twice a day over the past 10 days”

The cargo planes were reportedly spotted at a Russian air base in Latakia.

The shipments are in violation of two United Nations Security Council resolutions, a breach of international weapons embargo against Iran.

The report comes on the same day that Iran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced that Iranian warships will “soon berth at ports in the Atlantic Ocean”, claiming that “The presence of Iranian warships in international ports shows the Iranian Navy’s prowess.”
