In 60 Minutes interview, Netanyahu confirms he will seek means to undo/modify nuclear deal with Iran under Trump presidency–

In an interview with “60 Minutes” Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he would seeks ways to modify the Iran nuclear deal under the Trump Administration.

Prime Minister Netanyahu stated on the nuclear deal that “There are ways, various ways of undoing it” and that he has “about five things in my mind,” adding that he would not give details but wait to discuss the nuclear deal with President-elect Donald Trump, once he is in office, stating he would “talk to the president before I talk to 60 Minutes.”

The Prime Minister stated on Donald Trump’s support and commitment to Israel and the Jewish people “I know Donald Trump. And I think his attitude, his support for Israel is clear. He feels very warmly about the Jewish state, about the Jewish people. There’s no question about that.”

President-elect Donald Trump has been clear he does not support the nuclear deal and considers it the “worst deal ever negotiated”. The nuclear deal is to be one of the first priorities under a Trump Administration, with overwhelming support in Congress against the deal since the signing of the agreement in 2015.

On December 2, 2016, the United States Senate voted unanimously in favor of extending the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA) for an additional decade, Iran responding shortly by stating the extension is a direct violation of the nuclear agreement formed with world powers.
