The Lebanese Army reported an Israeli drone that crashed into the sea on the coast of Tripoli in northern Lebanon overnight Friday into Saturday. Al-Jazeera claimed that an Israeli airstrike blew up the drone, destroying it.

The report comes just three weeks following reports from Lebanon of an Israeli aircraft that crashed into the Bekaa region.

The Lebanese army released a statement on the drone crash, posting several photos and video footage of the drone. The statement read: Around 8:30 am, a drone that belongs to the Israeli enemy crashed at Tripoli port.

The IDF has refused to comment on the incident.
