Ceremony and swearing in for Israel’s 34th Knesset to occur Thursday night
Israel will swear in the 34th Knesset on Thursday evening following two months of negotiations and creation of a coalition.
Prime Minister Netanyahu successfully created a coalition by the designated deadline of May 6.
The coalition government will include the following members of Knesset (MK) in governing positions:
Prime Minister: Benjamin Netanyahu (Likud)
Minister of Defense: Moshe Ya’alon (Likud)
Minister of Economy and Interior: Aryeh Deri of the Shas party
Minister of Education and Diaspora Affairs: Naftali Bennet of the Jewish Home party
Minister of Finance: Moshe Kahlon of the Kulanu party
Minister of Justice: Ayelet Shaked of the Jewish Home
