No injuries or damages reported; IDF: Hamas is the address of responsibility
The Israeli Air Force struck terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip following a rocket attack on Israel overnight.
A rocket was fired and landed in an open area in the Ashkelon area with no damages or injuries.
The IDF released the statement: The IDF considers this incident a severe one. We won’t put up with any attempt to harm Israeli civilians. Hamas is the address of responsibility.
IDF Spokesman Peter Lerner stated, “The unacceptable rocket fire at Israel does not only put the lives of civilians at risk, it is a deliberate decision to target civilians… No person should live under the threat of terrorism
Israel holds the governing body of Gaza, Hamas, responsible for all rocket attacks on Israel. Hamas has denied responsibility.
